What type of HVAC work do you specialize in?
We focus on planned HVAC installation upgrades, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, humidifiers, gas fireplaces, and more. Our work is usually scheduled in advance and is always designed for long-term comfort, efficiency, and reliability.
Do you service my area?
Homefield Advantage HVAC proudly serves Burlington, Hamilton, Brantford, Haldimand, Niagara, and surrounding communities. If you don't see your area on our service area page, please reach out and we'll see if we can help out.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes, we provide clear, upfront estimates for installation upgrades after reviewing your existing system and home layout. All recommendations and pricing are explained before any work begins. Book your free in-home quote by clicking here.
Do you offer emergency or after-hours repairs?
At this time, our focus is on planned upgrades. We operate from 8:30am to 8:30pm daily. With that said, we understand the importance and safety of your home comfort systems working properly, and we are able to make emergency repair visits on a case-by-case basis. We stand by our work, and will always coordinate emergency repair visits for any work we have performed ourselves.
How do I know if I should repair or replace my system?
Replacement is often the better option if your current system is 12-15 + years old, breaks down frequently, or is contributing to high energy costs. However, it depends on many factors such as lifetime maintenance, sizing, and changing household needs. We are always available for a free in-home quote by clicking here.
Are heat pumps the best option?
Heat pumps are often ideal when gas is not available, ductwork space is limited, or when paired with a dual-fuel system. Sometimes heat pumps will qualify for government rebates under certain conditions which can help initial costs. Currently in Ontario, due to the cost of electricity, heat pumps often cost much more in ongoing energy bills over natural gas furnaces to operate, especially in extreme cold. The best option for you can be determined by discussing your unique home and needs with our HVAC technician, and weighing our personalized recommendations.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Homefield Advantage HVAC is fully licensed and insured, and all repairs and installations follow applicable Ontario codes and manufacturer standards.
What type of systems do you use?
Not all systems are built equally. We prioritize quality Canadian-built systems for their durability, ease of obtaining parts, and reliability in our climate. We also source out the top brands known for reliability anytime we install a different system.
What is your price on a furnace, air conditioner, and/or heat pump?
Every home is unique and requires an in-home evaluation so that our experts can determine exactly what will work best. For this reason, we always provide a free in-home quote to determine the equipment you need, process involved, and final price. We keep our pricing simple and transparent. We don't rely on padded prices or gimmicky discounts - just honest quotes for quality built systems.
Many larger HVAC companies spend huge budgets on marketing and advertising which they have to recoup by charging more to customers. They also have large networks with big overhead and administration costs. We are a locally owned, experienced, nimble team able to use our Homefield Advantage to provide competitive pricing.
